This was given to me in two different devotional readings this morning. I would say Jesus is trying to impress this in my heart and mind.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Mat 6:34
Living in the 'gift of the present moment' has drawn me for years. Elisabeth Elliot wrote a lot about it. I desire to live it daily. It's really all we have. The past is gone. The future is not here. It really is God's gift to us.. this present moment.
